Tom will see patients with general orthopaedic problems, and on refer to a colleague if the referral is beyond his scope of practice.
Referrals can be made via email, SReferrals or healthlink. Kindly include the patients details, ACC number or private insurance information, a brief history as well as any imaging reports. X-rays done prior to consultation ensure expedient patient review, but we can arrange these when required. When appropriate we will often arrange advanced imaging prior to clinic appointment, so this may be available to you before your patient is seen. If you are aware of imaging performed outside the Northland Region let us know so we can get images transferred prior to the consultation
