After you arrive at the Hospital the perioperative team will check you in. Tom and the Anaesthetist will see you before your operation and you will be asked to provide consent for both the surgical procedure and the anaesthetic.
After the operation you will be taken to a recovery area. Once stable you will be transferred to either the over night ward or you will be allowed to travel home.
Please arrange someone to take you home as you will not be able to drive.
